HiCortex Brainstorming

Today I came across a fantastic new tool for online and collaborative brainstorming. It’s name is HiCortex Brainstorming and the highly energetic and inspiring Roger Hiscott (@rhncafc) told me about it today. I have already tried and loved DropTask, that comes under the same package of collaborative tools that we at CollaboratEd use in our Collaborative Learning Training Experiences for teachers, but HiCortex Brainstorming is new to me. I just had a quick look at it and it truly looks great. In many ways it is similar to Padlet and Linoit, but I think it offers a few more features that make it a very interesting alternative and probably worth swapping platform for.

Two features in particular caught my eye, grouping notes into clusters and exporting your brainstorm in a range of formats, including iMindMap!

We are planning a redesign for the CollaboratEd website, so I am off setting up a brainstorming wall on HiCortex Brainstorming, but do let us know how you have used it in the classroom and/or in your business.
